To Thomasss, son of my late nephew, William Petty of Bramley Head, deceased. The house where James Longbottom now dwells (being half of one messuage) with the little garden adjoining, new barn called High Barn, stables and close at Padside. To William, son of my late nephew, William Petty, the house where I now do dwell (half one messuange), one peat house at west end of James Longbottom's house, smithy and carthouse and six acres enclosed from "Forg Knors" at Padside, and a road with lands, buildings in Thornthwaite now in the occupation of John Longbottom. To Thomas Addyman the older of Hartwith, linen weaver and WIlliam Petty of Darley, son of my brother, Robert Petty upon Trust to sell and a beasgate and another to nephew, Thomas, son of brother, Robert Petty. Thomas and William, sons of my late nephew, William Petty shall pay L60 to their brother George. 20 parts to be paid to John Hartley who married Ann, otherwise Nancy, daughter of my brother, John Petty, deceased, John Hartley to pay the interest maintenance of children of Elizabeth Hainsworth, deceased, daughter of John Petty. Also to each of my nephews and neices: Elizabeth Coates and heirs of late Hannah Addiman, daughter of my late brother, Thomas Petty, Robert Petty and Mary Thompson, children of my brother, Robert Petty, William Petty, John Petty and Ann, otherwise Nancy Hartley, childrenof my late brother John, John Holmes, Edward Holmes, Ann Hannam, Mary Holmes, Elizabeth Dagget, Sarah Longbottom and Hannah Greaves children of my late sister, Elizabeth Holmes, William, Robert and David Wigglesworth and Rachel Sharp, children of my late sister Ann Wigglesworth.
